Barcelona United Youth Development Academy Program Information

Our Youth Development Academy is a 5 week program designed as an entry into the club soccer world for the youngest of players.  The program is open to all players between the ages of 5 and 9 years old.  The Youth Development Academy is designed to be supplemental to other recreational or club soccer programs, so it is open to all players regardless of current club affiliation.

The primary focus of the program will be the individual technical development of each player.  Technical topics such as: dribbling turns & feints, passing, receiving, ball striking, finishing, 1v1 attacking & 1v1 defending.  In addition, basic Tactical topics such as: spacing, possession, movement & awareness will be covered.  Small sided games, 3v3 or 4v4, will be utilized for game play to maximize each player's time with the ball at their feet.

All sessions will be conducted by Barcelona United's Professional Coaching Staff.
